Engineered in controlled facilities that duplicate the natural process that creates mined diamonds, lab grown diamonds have the exact same chemical and physical make-up of mined stones. To the naked eye, there is no difference between mined diamonds and lab grown diamonds. Unlike simulated stones like cubic zirconia or moissanite that mimic the look of real diamonds, lab grown diamonds share the same chemical properties of mined diamonds.

MINED DIAMONDS

Mined diamonds are diamonds that have formed through natural occurrences and are extracted from the Earth. Made of carbon that has crystalized, diamonds are formed under great pressure and temperature, and are pushed to the earth’s surface following a volcanic eruption. Extracting mined stones is a costly and often dangerous process.
